Here at the Christian Simplicity web site we focus on creating and highlighting useful resources for ourselves and others who identify themselves as having thorny soil in their lives so that we can immerse ourselves in these truths:

• Life is not measured in the abundance of possessions.
• God can be trusted to take care of us.
• We don’t need to rely on our own ingenuity and ability to secure our future.
• We can live in the creative goodness of God.

Our goal is to foster a community where we can reflect with other people on how to follow Jesus in a lifestyle that is inwardly rich toward God and outwardly rich toward our neighbors. We don’t have all the answers but we’re happy to share our journey with you as we seek the abundant life in Christ.

Following Jesus doesn’t eliminate the unique issues that arise from living in the 21st century in an affluent culture. We still have to make decisions about lifestyle, savings, debt, insurance, taxes, and a number of other personal finance issues. Because we have experience, knowledge, and an interest in personal finance, we offer financial coaching and education for people who desire to manage their finances in light of the reality of the kingdom of God. We help fellow followers of Jesus learn how to make financial decisions in a way that supports the unique dreams and goals that come from a life in Jesus.
