The mission of Christian Simplicity is to help people follow Jesus in a simple lifestyle of holy reflection and devotional living. This is the way Jesus lived. It is living in a way that is inwardly rich toward God and outwardly rich toward our neighbor.1
There are two ways we effectively accomplish our mission.
1. The most effective way we help others follow Jesus in a lifestyle of holy reflection and devotional living is by doing so ourselves.
2. The second most effective way is by remembering that the first way is the most effective way. We have many wonderful ideas about how to help people follow Jesus. They include building this website, writing e-books, conducting seminars, taking reverse missionary trips, helping people get connected in communities, leading retreats, and offering practical teaching on holy reflection and devotional living. But if those ideas do not flow from the foundation of Christ, then they are worthless.2
